phone, mvyradio on your iPod. Before you know it, you’ll be able to pick
us up on your teeth (well, maybe not).

Podcasts menu. What is podcasting? The Silicon Valley definition is
the "online syndication of content programs through Real Simple
Syndication (RSS) data feeds." But simply put, podcasts are
just a fancy way of downloading digital media.
Our particular mvyradio podcasts are full-length versions of some of
our more popular shows: Local MusiCafe, Shakedown Stream, and Northwest
Passage.
If you want to subscribe to a series, you will need to download free
podcasting software (or "web-based podcatcher") that this
link will tell you more about. The software will automatically download
new podcasts to your computer, so that you can listen whenever and wherever
you like. There are many podcatchers, among them iTunes. We have found
Juice Receiver (formerly
iPodder) to be an easy and intuitive podcatcher.
To access your podcasts portably, you’ll also need a portable media
(mp3) player such as an iPod, CreativeLab’s Zen or Sony PSP. You can transfer
podcasts from your desktop/laptop computer to your portable device easily.
