Alison
Krauss & Union Station stirred up a wave of new enthusiasm for bluegrass,
and while bluegrass revival itself is alive and well, Krauss and her entourage
have moved away somewhat from that sound in favor of a polished, commercial rural
American adult contemporary style. They're still doing bluegrass, but they have
evolved into something stylistically distinct from 2001's success, New Favorite.
