ALO, "Roses and Clover"
California jam band ALO comes from the musical traditions
that include heavyweights like the Grateful Dead,
and the Allman Brothers Band. But beyond the jam,
they know how to polish a song to be tight, effective,
and memorable, not to mention mixing in a good measure
of Pop, not unlike, say, Phish or The Beatles. The
studio Pop songs are pregnant with riffs so that they
can be jammed out in concert. That's thinking ahead.
