Tinkering with strange chords that seemed to suggest their own progression - that's what lead to these pieces. The results are generally creepy and morose, and sometimes silly. The CDs could be described loosely as classical, although there are elements of other styles.

The music was created with a midi piano and a PC. The midi tracks were rendered with realistic sounding soundfonts (instrument sound files). The soundfonts used here are generally DAT recorded note-for-note samples of real instruments, all downloaded from the web. For example, the downloaded organ soundfont was recorded in Stefans Cathedral in Vienna. Todd has studied the piano his whole life, mostly on his own. He is also mvyradio's webmaster.
